Newly promoted Wolves are keen on signing Stoke City’s Jack Butland to be their Premier League number one goalkeeper. They may face competition, however, with both Liverpool and West Ham supposedly tracking the Englishman.
Max Meyer will not be playing for Schalke again, according to reports, after he criticising the hierarchy at the club. The German has been linked with Liverpool over recent months.
Arsenal have made an improved contract offer to midfielder Jack Wilshere as the club look to try and keep hold of the Englishman. Both Wolves and Everton are thought to be interested in signing him, should he decide to leave the Emirates.
Real Madrid are still sniffing around Mohamed Salah and reports in Spain suggest Los Blancos may offer Lucas Vazquez as part of any deal, to both lower the likely asking price and tempt the Reds into a sale.
Zinedine Zidane has insisted that Gareth Bale will remain at the club this summer, despite the fact he’s been linked with a move to Manchester United. The winger has played somewhat inconsistently this season.
Zidane, as with Gareth Bale, has also revealed that he expects Karim Benzema to still be at the Bernabeu next year. Benzema has been urged to “smile more” by his manager. Chelsea have been reportedly readying a bid for the Frenchman.

Tottenham Hotspur are looking at Ajax’s Matthijs de Ligt as a possible replacement for the likely-to-leave Toby Alderweireld. The Dutchman has played down talk of a move to London, however.
